Bill Thompson,  CAC-R, ICADC, DOT Substance Abuse Professional, is a psychotherapist with over 25 years of experience in the addiction field. President and CEO of Perfect Solutions, Inc. Bill has helped thousands of people recover from their addiction to alcohol and other drugs.
 
James White, Jr., PhD, NP, and Terry Whyte, Jr., PhD, FNP-C, each provide psychological testing as well as various other services.
 
Matthew Kulick, D.O., has over 20 years of experience in medicine, serves as our Medical Director. He services clients at either his Davisburg or Auburn Hills office, as well as consults with clients on site.
 
Staff are available to answer any questions you may have regarding our services. We welcome your referrals to our organization. PSI is a Michigan for-profit corporation.

 Young people in today’s society are faced with a great deal of peer pressure in order to fit in. This can lead to the use and abuse of legal and illegal drugs. Until the age of 21, all substances are illegal and it is our hope to educate those in need before trouble escalates out of control. This group is geared toward the 18 to 25 year old young adult who may be faced with legal consequences, family problems, employment problems and/or significant peer pressures. This program is aimed at helping this specific population to become productive members of our society.
 
 
Teaching young adults about making better choices can enhance their lives and help them become productive members of society.

For people between the ages of 13 and 17, all substances are illegal and it is our hope to educate and treat those in need. This program is geared toward the 13 to 17 year old who may be faced with school problems, legal consequences, family problems, employment concerns, and/or significant peer pressures, who may be using alcohol and/or other drugs. This program is aimed at enhancing their coping skills as they interact with other young people who are living successfully, clean and sober lives.

The GAP Program is geared toward the 13 to 17 year old group, who are showing signs of being at risk for substance abuse and other maladaptive patterns of behavior. The GAP Program intends to serve as an important adjunct to Individual Therapy during the client’s course of treatment. The adolescent’s coping skills are expected to be enhanced as they interact with others who are adapting to life in healthier ways. The lecture portion of this program consists of eight (8) didactic lectures followed by the “Bean Bag Group.” Participation in the group can continue after completion of the didactic lectures if more support and encouragement is warranted.

This six (6) week series addresses the physical, biological and psychological components of alcoholism and drug dependency, and the involvement of family members in recovery from this disease. Each family member will gain an increased knowledge of how substance abuse and/or dependency have affected their lives. They will also learn the importance that 12 Step support programs have in recovery for the family as a system.

We provide an array of assessments for those needing an evaluation due to a situation requiring a professional opinion on what needs to happen next. We provide an unbiased judgment about the circumstance based on an understanding of the situation. Assessments include diagnosis, prognosis and recommendations where the client might obtain the necessary assistance relative to their situation. Along with your original assessment we will include one copy for your records.
Fees
Fees include a Urine Drug Analysis (UDA) that will be administered as part of the assessment process. Current fee is $250 (subject to change). This fee is based on five (5) to seven (7) business days turnaround. A higher fee will be assessed for a quicker turnaround time should that be required. Psychological Assessments provided by Drs. White and Whyte, may not include drug testing.

Call the office today for an appointment. Generally, clients can expect to be given an appointment within one (1) week. PSI will coordinate all services, with Psychological and Psychiatric Testing and Assessing provided by Drs. White and Whyte.

The Next Step…
Completing the assessment process is quick and easy. You will be asked a series of questions about your history, administered a M.A.S.T. (Michigan Alcohol Screening Test), and submit to a 5 or 10-Panel Drug Test. Should you require, or request, a Gravity Specific Drug Test, we will refer you to an outside organization to provide the test. Those results will be delivered to our facility within 48 hours of testing. Results of this test will be included in your assessment. We will provide your referral source with a copy of the assessment and provide a copy for you. Or, if you wish, the original and one copy will be provided to you directly. The assessment will include a number of options should education or treatment be recommended.

 DRIVER LICENSE APPEAL DIVISION
 
STATE OF MICHIGAN

Assessments include diagnosis, prognosis and recommendations where the petitioner might obtain the necessary assistance relative to their situation. Along with your original assessment, we will provide you with a self-addressed envelope to mail your materials to the DLAD along with USPS forms to mail them Certified Return Receipt requested. It is necessary for the petitioner to submit their evaluation to the State of Michigan in a timely manner to facilitate a timely hearing.  D.L.A.D. evaluations are valid only for a 90-day period of time.

· Most of the 50 United States are now exchanging information. If you have an outstanding offense in another state and attempt to renew your Michigan Driver License, you likely will be denied until the situation has been properly addressed.
